Achrafieh district should have its own municipality?

To start with; Achrafieh does not have its own municipality which is a big obstacle for an accurate development of our lovely district!

While public gardens, roads, sidewalks and buildings are constantly neglected in Achrafieh (and other cities around Beirut as well), there’s a huge staff in charge of keeping DownTown Beirut in shape!

We are not saying DownTown Beirut shouldn’t be taken care of, but having one municipality for all of the Beirut region including Down Town, Hamra, Achrafieh, Verdun... is absurd.
May be it's the time to think about our capital districts especially Achrafieh!
